TUESDAY NIGHT COMMUNITY RUN CLUB
6.00 PM TUESDAY NIGHTS FROM OUTSIDE THE SILVERSTREAM STUDIO

WHEN, WHERE AND FOR WHO?
We are proudly supporting a group of locals in our community who are behind a Tuesday Night Community Run Club. The group meets and leaves from our Silverstream Studio at 6.00 pm, starting 3 March.

The group will run various 5km (approx) routes around Silverstream and surrounding areas.

The group hopes to cater for people of every ability, being seasoned runners through to those just starting out. Running in a group can be a great way to find motivation, meet similar minded people, exercise safely in a group enviroment etc.

If you're interested, just come along and introduce yourself, or contact Glenn using the details provided on the left.
THE MAN BEHIND THE GROUP
When Glenn Perkinson approached us saying he wanted to set up a community running group, we were proud to support him in helping to get our local community active. Glenn's aims in setting up the group are to get people moving and improving their abilities while having fun.

Having always been a passionate sportsman (since the age of 5, he has been involved in rugby, tennis, squash, badminton and table tennis to list a few), he started running regularly as a way to get fitter and stronger and overcome injuries. What developed was a love for running. Glenn has been an active member of Hutt Valley Harriers for the last 17 years, 8 of those as Junior Co-ordinator. He is a regular "Park Run" runner and is involved in a group looking to establish a Park Run in Upper Hutt.

Glenn is a regular Saturday Circuit attendee and also Chloe Thorne's father. Chloe is one of our Exercise Coaches based out of our Silverstream Studio, and similarly to Chloe, Glenn's bubbly and optimistic nature will no doubt make the Tuesday Night Community Run Club an enjoyable experience.
